Working sections and groups

Since the beginnings of this Society and more markedly since 2002, SEOM has been instigating the creation of Working Commissions, Sections and Groups for the development of different subjects of interest to Oncology.

The purpose of these meetings, which are held regularly at the Society’s headquarters, is to research and look in detail at specific issues, subspecialities of the oncology profession, and are attended by experts and professionals, all of whom are medical oncologists, who are leading and representative figures on a national level.

These Working Groups include: Continuing Care Section, Family and Hereditary Cancer Section, Commission for Publications, Sponsorship and Grants, Commission for Clinical Research, Commission for Care Organisation and Management in Medical Oncology, Working Group for Residents and Young Associates, Working Group for the White Paper on Medical Oncology and Working Group for Conference Regulations.
